Knick Myers

Originally from Oklahoma, R. Knick Myers relocated his family to East Tennessee in the early 1990’s in search of a higher quality of life and the ideal place to raise a family. "Knoxville offers the ideal environment to live, work, and play, a place that we are proud to call home", quoted Knick. Mr. Myers earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma and is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie Course in Effective Speaking and Human Relations. He also completed pre-graduate work in the fields of engineering, architecture, and construction management at Oklahoma State University, and earned a Masters of Business Administration degree of Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. Mr. Myers is a Tennessee licensed real estate agent and member of Knoxville Association of Realtors. In addition to Mr. Myers’s responsibilities of being a partner and officer of Myers Bros. Holdings, Myers Bros. & Miller Partnership, and Cornerstone Realty Associates LLC, Mr. Myers is a Partner and Director on the Board of Directors of Sandestin (Hilton) Beach Hotel, Ltd. in Destin Florida. Mr. Myers is also a Director on the Tennessee Board of Directors of United Community Bank (NASDAQ: UCBI). Mr. Myers is an active member of the Lenoir City Civitan Club where he is a past President and has held numerous other positions within his tenure in the civic organization. Mr. Myers is a member, and past executive committee member, of Nucleus Knoxville. Nucleus Knoxville is a prestigious private organization of 75 individuals under 45 years of age that have been selected for membership due to their outstanding leadership skills, with the organization’s objective being, “to identify, support, and educate new dynamic leadership in the greater Knoxville area”. Mr. Myers is currently serving a second term as a member of the Farragut, Tennessee Economic Development Committee. Mr. Myers’ various other past civic duties include being a past two-term Director on the Board of Directors of the Farragut/West Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, being a past Director on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Loudon County, Tennessee and a past Director on the Board of Directors for Lenoir City Committee of 100. Mr. Myers is an active member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church (SJNCC) in Farragut, Tennessee. Mr. Myers was a member of the SJNCC building committee that over saw the beautiful new stone sanctuary that is located adjacent to the SJNC School. Mr. Myers resides in Farragut, Tennessee with his wife of over two decades, Dr. Stephanie Myers. Mr. & Dr. Myers have two daughters.
