(PRINCIPAL BROKER)

Cornerstone Realty Associates’ co-founder, Noah L. Myers, was born in Edmond, Oklahoma and studied Accounting at the University of Oklahoma. Prior to moving to Tennessee 30 years ago, Mr. Myers worked for the Oklahoma accounting Firm of Osborne, Price, & Hobby. He supported the Firm partners in general ledger services, payroll processing, sinking fund management, litigation support, and tax return preparation. MBH, Inc. was chartered in May of 1994. In August of 1994, Noah relocated to Tennessee to pursue a shared dream. During their youth, Noah and his brother, Knick aspired to join forces in business together. This dream evolved into starting Myers Bros. Ace Hardware & Building Materials. The brand-new store opened for business in March of 1995.

The rapid growth experienced in their retail business brought positive attention to the Myers brothers. Their attention to detail, work ethic, and strong moral beliefs became cornerstones for which the company was built. They received numerous awards and accolades from Ace Hardware Corporation for their superior retail practices and explosive growth. Upon the realization that the retail venture was a success, the Myers Brothers created a real estate development and management firm. This firm transitioned them from part time real estate investors into full time real estate development, brokerage, and management firm owners.

Despite the fanfare and the growth, the Myers brothers determined that it is nearly impossible to efficiently operate a retail business with progressive strategies while simultaneously pursuing real estate and other ventures. When a large retail chain based in Chattanooga, Tennessee approached the brothers about selling their retail business, they listened. The result was that the retail division of Myers Bros. Holdings was procured by the Chattanooga firm. MBH, Inc. dba Myers Bros. Hardware morphed into Myers Bros. Holdings. This change in direction allowed Noah and Knick to focus on their real estate divisions. The Myers brothers’ first development was Vista. Vista was created to fill a niche in the Farragut community for residents that sought out larger lots, privacy, great views, tight restrictions, and a great central Farragut location. The development was a success, hosting the Knoxville Symphony Show House and multiple Parades of Homes. Vista sold out and now host homes over $3 million. The Myers brothers went on to develop other neighborhoods and commercial developments. Their flagship commercial development is Renaissance Farragut (www.go2rf.com). Renaissance Farragut hosts over 100,000 sf of office, retail, banking, medical, dental, and restaurants. Cornerstone Realty Associates, LLC was launched in the fall of 2006. The MBH, Inc. and Cornerstone Realty Associates call Renaissance Farragut home.

Noah Myers has many interests and pursuits outside of his businesses. Rotary International has been something close to Noah’s heart since 1996. As an active Rotarian in the Farragut Rotary Club, Noah has been the weekly emcee for the club for over 20 years… whether he brings his humor or his focus, Noah enjoys the civic involvement and the comradery of Rotary. Noah also enjoys assisting local nonprofits in obtaining their goals. Noah was president of the board of directors and long-term board member of STAR, Shangri-la Therapeutic Academy of Riding (www.rideatstar.org). Noah has also a past board member of the East Tennessee YMCA, where he helped the Ys in the Knoxville MSA. As a past member of the Farragut VRRB, Visual Resources Review Board, Noah helped shape the signage and landscaping you see today in the commercial districts around town. Noah currently sits on the FMPC, Farragut Municipal Planning Commission. He has held this position for over 10 years. His experience in real estate design and development has been instrumental in understanding the details of projects that come before the commission. He enjoys helping craft the future of Farragut development by engaging the public and bringing a pragmatic approach to decision making. Mr. Myers also assists in strategic planning and decision making for TnBank (www.tnbank.bank) as a bank director. TnBank is a $300 million local community bank headquartered in Oak Ridge, Tennessee with branches in Oak Ridge, Knoxville, Farragut, and Maryville.
